Benbrook Public Library is starting a new program for homebound residents, Benbrook Bound.  If you are a Benbrook resident

What is Benbrook Bound?

Benbrook Bound is a free service provided by Benbrook Public Library to those in the community who are unable to visit the library due to a temporary or extended disability or illness.

Who is eligible for the program?

*Individuals unable to visit the library due to disability or illness

*Individuals whose condition is of a duration of two months or longer

*Individuals who have no family, friends, or any other means of having library materials delivered or picked up on their behalf.

What can I borrow?

Homebound readers can borrow library materials including large print and regular type books, audiobooks, videos, eReader devices, and Wi-Fi hotspots.

How often will I receive a delivery?

Deliveries are made on Tuesdays or Thursdays, or at a time that is mutually convenient for library staff and the patron.  Because library items can be checked out for three weeks, the staff will generally make deliveries every two weeks.

Is there any cost associated with this program?

There is no charge for this program.  Homebound patrons are, however, responsible for replacement costs for damaged or lost materials.

Contact Erica at 817-249-6632 or erica@benbrooklibrary.org for more information.
