The Children's Area

The children's area is where you'll find children's books, from board books for the earliest readers to juvenile non-fiction and middle-grade fiction for more advanced readers.

Beside the graphic novel shelf, you will find the homework helper station. One side of the blue cart has writing utensils, lined paper, and other school supplies one may need for homework. On the other side, you will find take and make kits. 

There are computers available for children to use both for education and leisure. There are also busy bags and file folder games available that help children to develop literacy and mathematical skills. 

Beyond the books, this area of the library is a bustling space. Before and after storytime, you will often see children playing together while their caregivers chat amongst themselves. Overall, this is an area where imaginations soar and community connections are made.
