Event Details

Join us for a calm coloring session and celebrate National Poetry Month by making blackout poetry.

Blackout poetry is a form of erasure poetry created by taking a newspaper clipping (or any other written page) and "erasing" or using a permanent marker to black-out unwanted words in order to a make a simple poem from the words that were left behind.

Not into coloring or poetry? That's okay too! Just drop in to enjoy the snacks, music, and hanging out with other tweens.
