Making It Projects

Making It Projects

All crafters and DIYers are welcome to explore and choose from a list of ready-to-make projects! Each project features at least one piece of equipment from our MakerSpace to allow patrons to gain experience with the machines and process to feel more comfortable creating at our library.

Join us for upcoming Making It classes twice every other month, held on the second and fourth Wednesday of every other month, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Register to get step-by-step instruction from our team to make your very own creation start to finish! All classes require registration and are for adults 18 or over unless specifically stated in the event details for occasional family programs.

Or explore past Making It projects below and book a MakerSpace appointment at any time so you never have to miss out on any of the creative fun. The same instructions and materials from the Making It classes will be provided during your 1-on-1 appointment with our MakerSapce Staff.

Past Projects

November Making It Project

Making It_ 3D Print _ Resin Faux Stained Glass Windows

Hand-sew a plush felt monster with the help of the Cricut! This is perfect for families to work together, recommended for children ages 8+.

Making it_ Laser Engraver

Create a custom day planner with a Zentangle design and embroidered detail on the front. Using the Laser Engraver, we created the Zentangle as a stamp, we just added ink and pressed the journal onto the stamp to reveal the beautiful design. Also, using the laser engraver we cut out faux leather circles that were then embroidered and glued onto the front to complete the Embroidered Zentangle Day Planner.
